| Abstract | Character relations among the members of the genus Strigiphilus (for 17 species) were analysed by R-technique. The single-linkage and group-average clustering of 28 morphometric characters reveal in both sexes two major groups of highly correlated measurements: (1) the width of head, thorax, and abdomen and the length of head with the mandibles, (2) antenna 1 dimensions. On the other hand, the remaining characters, e.g., dimensions of the head plate, male genitalia as well as ratios show relatively low correlations, different for males and females, respectively.
