I am fortunate enough to travel quite a bit  during the course of my work. If I am going somewhere interesting, I'll usually take a bit of extra time to look around and see the sites. When I get back I usually try to put together a book for photos from the trip. Here are a few iPhoto books based on these travels. Note that these PDF's are pretty large and most of photos concentrate on the wildlife, especially birds.

2008 - USA	Woods Hole MA, EOL meeting (12-17 Apr.); San Francisco and Sunnyvale, CA, SciFoo camp 2008 (5-12 August); Savannah IL (collecting 4-5 Sept.), Champaign-Urbana IL (UofI meeting 6-7 Sept.), Chicago IL (EOL Sprint 8-11 Sept.) and New York, NY (presentation and server installation NYBG 12-17 Sept.); and New York, NY (presentation at AMNH 22-26 Nov.).
2008 - Tanzania	Northern Tanzania, 2-12th November 2008, during and after the 15th governing board meeting (GB15) of the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF), in Arusha International Conference Centre, Tanzania.
2008 - South Africa	KwaZulu-Natal province, South Africa 4-20th July 2008. These were taken during and after I attended the XXIII International Congress of Entomology (ICE 2008), at the International Convention Center in Durban, South Africa. They include pictures from Greater St Lucia Wetland Park, Hluhuwe/Imfolozi Park, Mkhuze Game Reserve and Ithala Game Reserve).
2007 - USA	Massachusetts and California between July 25th and August 8th, 2007. These were taken during and after I attended Science Foo Camp 2007, and meetings in Woods Hole, MA, and San Diego CA.
2007 - Spain	Spain and Gibraltar between 7-16 May, 2007. These were taken during a bird watching holiday.
2006 - Argentina	Argentina between 13-29th of October 2006. These were taken during and after the Third International Congress on Phthiraptera (ICP3), in Buenos Aires, Iguazú (Misiones Province, Northern Argentina), and parts of Patagonia.
2005 - Alaska	Alaska, 1-16 June, 2005. These were taken before and after the 2005 Evolution meeting in Fairbanks.
2003 - Thailand	Thailand, 11-21 April 2003 during the height of the SARS pandemic and the 2003 Invasion of Iraq. This along with the 2007 Spain trip are the only ones here that were just a holiday.
